No matter what your age, sex or ability, you are sure to enjoy playing squash at the Sports Centre. You can choose from a range of different ways of playing to fulfil your squash requirements.
Courts
The Sports Centre has three squash courts, which are available for both members and non-members. Racket hire is available at Reception. The court time sessions are 40 minutes.

Monday Morning Squash
Our Monday morning session is a great opportunity to meet new people to play. We welcome players of all standards, including complete beginners, to play friendly games.
Squash Club
The Club
Basingstoke Sports Centre Squash Club is based at the Sports Centre. It is a friendly club, and always welcomes new members. The Club's activities include the following.
- Club Nights Friday 7.40 - 9.00pm Please come along to one of our club nights for some friendly games. Club nights are a relaxed way to meet other members and have a social game of squash
- Training Nights Mondays 7.00 - 9.00pm The Squash Club meets fortnightly on Monday evenings. The training sessions are open to members and non-members of all abilities and are organised by our Squash Coach, John Lenton. Contact John on 01256 302217
- Leagues The Club runs an internal league system embracing players of all standards. It allows you to quickly establish regular playing partners of a similar standard as well as new players to challenge you as you improve. The leagues are open to all Club members.
- Teams The Club runs mens and ladies representative teams in the Hampshire and Berkshire Leagues
- Tournaments There are handicapped team tournaments each year with prizes. These are always played in a friendly but competitive spirit, and are open to players of all standards.
- Membership Our objectives are to encourage people of all ages to play more squash. As a result we keep our subscription to a minimum. (£24 a year and free to students aged 16-18 years).
