About Basingstoke Sports Centre
Basingstoke Sports Centre is set in an accessible town centre location at the Festival Place shopping centre. Easy access and parking makes us an ideal choice when looking for a sport and leisure facility in and around Basingstoke in Hampshire.
In addition to our swimming pools, squash courts, 186-station gyms and sports hall we have three fitness studios, a pedal studio and a multi-purpose activity room. Between them, we hold a wide range of fitness classes. With around 100 classes taking place each week, our class programme has something that is suitable for the young and old and all levels of ability.
We also host an extremely popular soft play area, The Play Den, for younger children and their parents and a host of children and 'young adults' activities ranging from our popular learn-to-swim programme to sports clubs to school holiday programmes.
Based at Festival Place, Basingstoke, Hampshire we are at the heart of your Town. We constantly strive to provide the best customer experience we can and are happy to hear feedback which helps us to improve our offer to you.

Bank Holidays
Centre open 08:00 to 13:00 with Swimming available 08:00 to 12:30. Any changes to normal opening times related to Christmas holidays etc will be published prior to the event.
Cancellations
In the case of a cancellation of a booking, there may be a charge unless 1 hours notice is given. Cancellations can be made by email, cancelbooking@sportscentre.org.uk, by telephone (01256) 326331 or in person at Reception. This applies to Members only.
Basingstoke Sports Centre
For over 40 years, Basingstoke Sports Centre has been owned and managed by a charitable trust, dedicated to providing the communities of Basingstoke with quality health and fitness, sporting and leisure facilities. Being a charity means that there are no shareholders or directors' dividends to pay, and any surplus income is re-invested into the Trust in order to improve our services and further our charitable objectives.
Car Parking
There is a wide choice of parking close to Basingstoke Sports Centre.
Adjacent to our reception is a multi-storey NCP car park. This is charged on exit and costs £1-00 after 5.00pm. This car park is AA rated, well lit, secure and patrolled regularly. Car Parks A and B are the nearest to our main entrance.
Alternatively there are plenty of surface car parks within a 5 minute walk, these are pay and display and costs are similar to the NCP with a £1-00 charge after 5.00pm.
PS Lounge
The PS Lounge is a warm and welcoming café lounge, located on the first floor of Basingstoke Sports Centre. Open every day for customers and visitors, our opening times are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at Weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We offer an extensive range of cooked breakfasts, light snacks and lunches, as well as baguettes and Panini’s with a large choice of fresh fillings from our deli counter. All of our food is prepared and cooked on the premises. For those with a sweeter tooth, we serve a choice of delicious home-made pastries and cakes. These change regularly, so you’ll need to pop in often if you want to sample our full range!
We offer a good variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and serve a range of Sir Henry teas and Piacetto fresh-ground bean-to-cup coffees.
In addition to our café service, we also provide a wide range health and fitness products including energy and protein supplements and a take-away service.
