The Sports Centre in Basingstoke is set in an ideal location, in the centre of the town within Festival Place shopping centre. Easy access and parking makes us an ideal choice when looking for a health and fitness leisure facility in and around Basingstoke.

For over 38 years, the Sports Centre has been owned and managed by a charitable trust, dedicated to providing the community of Basingstoke with quality health and fitness facilities. Being a charity means that there are no shareholders or directors' fees to pay, and any surplus income is either re-invested in improving the Sports Centre, or spent on furthering our charitable objectives.
The Sports Centre is spread over seven floors and has a surprising 72000 square feet comprising two gyms (one ladies only), five dance studios, two swimming pools, a luxury health and spa suite, a large sports hall, three squash courts, an OFSTED registered creche as well as a soft play area, and bistro.
People are our business, and we understand our customers' needs when it comes to keeping active and healthy. With such a large range of facilities, we are able to programme and offer many leisure and sporting opportunities for all ages and customers regardless of their current level of fitness.
Our job is to get more people more active, more often, to improve their health and well-being.
With the current rise in obesity and health related illnesses, it is our aim to encourage people to take more responsibility for themselves in a safe, well organised and diverse environment with caring, professional staff.

Monday - Friday 6.30am - 10.00pm
Saturday 8.00am - 5.00pm
Sunday 8.00am -9.00pm

Booking on-line
This facility is available for booking badminton, squash, five-a-side, aerobic and fitness classes. This facility is available to Members only.
Cancellations
In the case of a cancellation of a booking, there may be a charge unless 24 hours notice is given. Cancellations can be made by email, cancelbooking@sportscentre.org.uk , by telephone (01256) 326331 or in person at Reception. This applies to Members only.
Room Hire
There are opportunities to hire rooms at the Sports Centre for events or independent clubs. For more information please contact Reception on 01256 326331.
Bistro
Roses Bistro is located on the second floor of the Sports Centre and opens Monday - Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm. Full English breakfast is available as well as cooked lunches, light snacks and teas and coffees throughout the day. The Bistro also offers a take away service for sandwiches etc. Although we charge an admission for non members just visiting the Sports Centre, regular visitors to Roses can request an access card, which waives this fee.
